Our brands - French Country Pure Cotton Nightwear

Designed in Australia, French Country Nightwear is synonymous with 100% cotton ladies nighties, pyjamas brunchcoats and dressing gowns that showcase traditional sewing techniques such as pintucks, smocking, embroidery and french seams. The results are a modern take on Victorian style ladies sleepwear adapted for the Australian climate. There is a choice of various fabric weights to suit the different temperatures across our vast ranging continent. If you prefer a lighter nightie, look for cotton voile fabric which is normally indicated with a "V" at the product code. Thicker cottons are made from poplin or cambric. 

Our selection of nighties aim to cover as many choices as possible. We offer sleeveless, capped sleeved and short sleeved cotton nighties, strappy cotton nighties, in both shorter and longer lengths. Nighties can be in plain white or in soft prints. Sizing ranges from 8/10 to 22/24.

In past years, we have stocked only summer ranges. For Autumn/Winter 2019, we are also stocking French Country winter cotton nighties which will be on our website soon. The fabric is a lightweight brushed flannel cotton suitable for warmer winters or for ladies who prefer a thinner winter nightie. To make your cotton nighties last as long as possible, hand wash or wash on a gently cycle in your machine.
